THE FAN PHENOMENON IN WOMEN’S SPORT IN SPAIN
At BRT United, following our Sport Native DNA, we are aware of the transformation that women’s sport is driving across the industry. It is a cross-cutting phenomenon evolving alongside two of the main drivers of societal change: equality and climate change.

With the study ‘The Fan Phenomenon in Women’s Sport’, we conduct an in-depth analysis of the relationship between women’s sport and fans in Spain, examining how its growth has influenced engagement with supporters.

This is the most robust study carried out in Spain to date: more than 1,000 individual interviews, focus groups, and the participation of elite sports experts, coordinated by ‘Punto de Fuga’.
This work is part of the SportNET4Women network, promoted by the Spanish Sports Association (ADESP). Its findings will help you understand women’s sport and how it is reshaping society.
